How do I know if I need custom development vs off-the-shelf software?

Do you offer fixed pricing or hourly?

We offer both. For well-defined projects, we provide fixed pricing so you know the total cost upfront. For exploratory work, ongoing enhancements, or consulting, we work hourly at a rate quoted up front. For defined projects, fixed pricing usually gives the most peace of mind.

What if my requirements change during development?

We build flexibility into our process. Minor adjustments are included. For significant scope changes, we'll provide a change order with revised pricing and timeline. We use agile methodology with regular check-ins to catch issues early.

Who owns the code after the project is complete?

You do. Once the final payment is made, you own all code, databases, and intellectual property we created for your project. We provide complete documentation and source code access.

What happens after launch? Do you provide support?

Every project includes post-launch support (30-90 days depending on project size). After that, we offer ongoing maintenance plans for bug fixes, security updates, and minor enhancements. Or we can work hourly as needed.

Can you integrate with our existing systems?

Almost certainly yes. We can integrate with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero), CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot), e-commerce platforms (Shopify, WooCommerce), and many other systems. If it has an API or database access, we can integrate it.

Do we need to know technical details to work with you?

Not at all. We speak both 'business' and 'technical.' You explain your business processes and problems, we translate that into technical solutions. We explain everything in plain English and never use jargon without explaining it.
