How to delete your data

Operation Buildup (Burgess Consulting LLC, Oxford, Alabama) deletes your data when you ask. This page explains how, for each kind of data we hold. Questions: contact@operationbuildup.com · 256-624-7313.

If you connected Facebook or Instagram to Operation Buildup

"Data from Facebook or Instagram" means the access tokens, your Page and account IDs and names, the messages and comments we received, the names and profile pictures of the people who wrote to your Page or account, and your post metrics.

1. Disconnect in Operation Buildup: go to Inbox → Channels and choose Disconnect. We delete the access tokens immediately and stop receiving data. This does not delete what we already received; use step 3 for that.
2. Remove our app from Meta (optional, recommended):
   Facebook: Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (or Apps and websites) → Operation Buildup → Remove.
   Instagram: Settings → Website permissions (or Apps and websites) → Active → Operation Buildup → Remove.
   Removing the app revokes our access but does not by itself delete what we already received; use step 3 for that.
3. Request deletion by email: email contact@operationbuildup.com with the subject "Data deletion" and the Page or account name. We delete the data within 30 days and send you a confirmation email with a reference number.

If you connected Google Business Profile

Disconnect in Settings → Integrations, or remove Operation Buildup at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions. This deletes the token immediately. To delete the stored locations, reviews and posts, email contact@operationbuildup.com with the subject "Data deletion"; we delete them within 30 days.

If you are a customer of a business that uses Operation Buildup

Ask that business to delete your information. You can also email contact@operationbuildup.com; we will forward your request to the business and help carry it out within 30 days.

Text messages

Reply STOP to any of our texts to stop them. To delete your number and messages from our records, email contact@operationbuildup.com. We keep the record that you consented and that you opted out (number, date and the text you saw) for 4 years because the law requires us to be able to prove it.

Closing your Operation Buildup account

When a business closes its account, we delete its platform data, including everything received from Facebook, Instagram and Google, within 30 days. We keep invoices and tax records for as long as the law requires, and security logs for up to 1 year; these never include message content.

What we keep and why

After a deletion request we keep only: records the law requires us to keep (invoices, tax records, SMS consent and opt-out records), and the fact that you asked and when. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you why in the confirmation.
